Zero Discharge Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC)

‘The objective of this commitment is to lead the apparel and footwear industry towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals for all products across all pathways in our supply chains by 2020.’

In response to the Greenpeace Detox campaign, a group of major apparel and footwear brands and retailers made a shared commitment to help lead the industry towards zero discharge of hazardous chemicals (ZDHC) by 2020.

DyStar has always been committed to the highest standards of product safety and through its econfidence program is actively supporting this objective.

The DyStar positive list: Towards Zero Discharge of Hazardous Chemicals (ZDHC) contains a listing of DyStar’s global textile dyes and auxiliaries that do not contain as intentional ingredients any of the 11 chemical groups as listed in the ZDHC commitment.
