The Challenges of Automotive Fabric Coloration

COURSE OVERVIEW

DyStar, as one of the major suppliers in the textile chain for automotive interior fabrics, offers a wide range of dyes and chemicals aimed to meet the challenges set by the international car industry. In the module Challenges of Automotive Fabric Coloration, we will be showing the demands that our customers face to fulfil the technical requirements of car manufacturers and presenting our solutions for this challenging market.

The module comes in two parts:

In the first lesson, we will discuss in detail the main parameters involved in automotive fabric production such as light fastness and metamerism. We will take a closer look at the different automotive light fastness methods and show how they compare against lightfastness requirements for the apparel industry.

In the second lesson, Dianix^® AM & HLA ranges will also be explained with a focus on Dianix AM Formula One which provides excellent metamerism control and on-tone light fastness performance.
