This module provides some basic information on optical brighteners, their function, and the various chemistries offered by DyStar for the application on cotton goods.

By the end of the lesson, you would have learned important information on the topic of light reflection and whiteness perception of cellulosic materials. More specifically, the properties of the various Sera^® White C range optical brighteners offered by DyStar and their application recommendations, observed whiteness, and fastness performance.
