Foam Control – Product Selection & Feed System Design

COURSE OVERVIEW

In the module Defoamer Feed Systems & Importance of Application Points, you will first learn about the design factors for a defoamer feed system. Following which, you will find out more about how the proper DyStar product can be selected for use.

The module Product Screening at Customer Facility describes the process for screening DyStar Foam Control defoamers at a customer’s facility. The goal is to identify the top-performing defoamers and for allowing the customer to personally see the efficacy of DyStar products using inputs directly from their production process. Testing and screening is important to benchmark DyStar defoamers against competitive products, establish effective doses, and provide the customer with a report and first-hand experience they can use to qualify and approve a DyStar Foam Control defoamer for their facility.
