Basics of Textile Coating

COURSE OVERVIEW

Textile coating is a special form of textile finishing. With coating, not only properties such as color or feel of the substrate can be modified. Technical properties such as mechanical durability, water tightness (water column) or air permeability can also be influenced with coating. In this module, we will discuss the basics of textile coating from the different application methods to typical coating formulations with the use of DyStar’s products.
