KFO 200 is manufactured from food grade ingredients under Good Manufacturing Practices. All ingredients are listed in21 CFR 173.340 for use as a defoamer in yeast and beet sugar processing. There are many other non-food application uses for KFO 200. This product also contains ingredients for which the FDA has provided the Enzyme Technical Association with a “no objection” letter acknowledging that they are used as defoaming agents in the manufacture of enzyme preparations used in food in accordance with the principles of GMPs. Consideration for other FDA permitted uses would require further evaluation.
