FOAM BLAST DPT is manufactured from food grade ingredients under Good Manufacturing Practices. All ingredients meet FDA requirements for use as a defoamer in potato processing when followed by a potable water rinse. Other uses may be GRAS. FOAM BLAST DPT is a non-silicone, food grade defoamer that controls foam in various food processes. It is extremely effective in food processing where high starch and protein content are present. FOAM BLAST DPT is especially effective in the extraction of protein from soybean and other seeds because of its foam control over the pH range of 2 – 12. FOAM BLAST DPT provides a significantly higher degree of foam control in many systems compared to traditional 10, 20 and 30% silicone emulsion defoamers.
