Masil Ultra MF 8201 is a water-reducible, silicone-based water-repellant emulsion designed for use neat or diluted on masonry construction materials or as an additive in sealants and coatings.
When properly applied, Masil Ultra MF 8201 dramatically reduces penetration of liquid water while leaving the substrate permeable to water vapor. It is suitable for the treatment of concrete, stucco, brick, mortar, synthetic, and natural stone, along with other mineral construction materials.
As an additive in waterborne latex or high-solids silicone-latex systems, the product may impart improved adhesion to substrates and aid in the film formation characteristics, yielding a tougher, more crosslinked surface.

Application
Masil Ultra MF 8201 can be applied as-is to cementitious substrates for optimum properties. It can also be further diluted in water at desired concentrations. Roller and brush application techniques are recommended.
As an additive, the suggested initial concentration is 1 – 2% by weight. A ladder study is suggested to achieve the optimum desired properties.
