Masil® Ultra SL 1000

Milky, off-white liquid

Masil Ultra SL 1000 is a superior-performing slip and mar additive cleared under a wide variety of FDA citations for indirect food contact, including many that are not typically applicable to other available slip-mar additives, such as 21 CFR 175.300. As a result, it can be safely incorporated into inks and varnishes requiring these approvals, with the assurance that Masil Ultra SL 1000 will not change the regulatory status of their product. Because of its low viscosity, it is also easy to handle and incorporate into your process. It is effective in reducing the coefficient of friction when added at levels as low as 0.125% while causing no surface defects such as pinholes.

Current FDA 21 CFR Clearances: 175.110, 175.300, 175.320, 176.170, 176.180, 176.200, 176.210, 178.310
